How safe are tandem skydiving?
All the time, the jump and flight are led by an experienced tandem instructor who has more than 2,000 jumps on his account. Before takeoff, the instructor puts in a parachute, adjusts the suspension system and checks the reliability of attachment, and already in the airplane connects the suspension systems to you. You are under the full control of a professional. The landing has been worked out so smoothly and softly that there is no risk of injuries, bruises and other injuries.
Can a beginner perform a parachute jump in tandem?
Before the jump, a briefing is given, where you are told the basic rules and the nuances of the jump. Moreover, the instructor himself monitors and is responsible for stowing, opening and controlling the parachute. Therefore, those who wish, even with minimal knowledge, will be able to try this type of entertainment.
From what height are parachute jumps performed in tandem with the instructor?
A tandem jump is the only way to make a long jump the first time and fly in free fall for ages 1.5-2 km long.
How long does the flight last?
The entire flight, from the moment of jumping from the plane to the moment of landing, lasts about 10 minutes. The first 60 seconds you fly in free fall. If you are a beginner, this is only possible in tandem jumps, when the process is led by an experienced instructor.
In the first couple of seconds, the instructor releases a brake parachute, thanks to which the fall speed stabilizes at 50 m / s, and after another 50 seconds the main parachute opens. Now, from a bird's eye view, you can view stunning panoramas and capture the incredible beauty of nature and landscapes forever in your memory. A measured flight lasts 3-5 minutes.
